Transfer Ceremony for the Repatriation of an unknown Newfoundland First World War soldier

The Government of Canada will repatriate the remains of an unknown Newfoundland First World War soldier from northern France. A transfer ceremony from the Government of France to the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador will take place on Saturday, 25 May 2024, at 11:00 a.m. This ceremony is open to the public (no invitation required). Please arrive before 10:30 a.m.
