2574 Second Lieutenant James Douglas Hamilton (RMC 1937) was the son of Robert Murray Hamilton and Olive Norma Hamilton, of Simcoe, Ontario. He served with the Royal Engineers. He died on June 16, 1940 at 20 years of age. He was buried in the Selby Cemetery in Yorkshire, United Kingdom Sec. E. Grave 114.
