  • Photo of Ray Hutchings Logan– Logan, Ray Hutchings - Pilot Officer. Born 23rd August, 1919, at Edmonton, Alta. Educated at Edmonton. Entered the service of the Bank 16th December, 1938. Served at Edmonton and Smoky Lake, Alta. Enlisted 18th March, 1941, from the latter branch in R.C.A.F.  Sergeant Observer in February, 1942;  Flight Sergeant in May, 1942;  Pilot Officer in April, 1943. Trained at Edmonton, Alta., and Rivers, Man. Overseas in May, 1942. Attached R.A.F. Served with 425 and 109 Squadrons (Pathfinders).  Killed on operational flight over enemy territory 28th May, 1943.  Buried at Crosswijk, Holland.  From a memorial booklet prepared by the Canadian Bank of Commerce.
