  • Attestation Papers– Walter Hagar served in the First World War.  According to his Attestation Papers, he was born on July 8, 1883 and enlisted with the 38th Battalion Canadian Expedionary Force in Ottawa on March 1, 1915 at the age of 31.  He was serving with the Veterans Guard of Canada of Canada when he died on June 12, 1945, shortly before his 62nd birthday.
