  • Photo of FRANCIS JOHN MATIER– Frank enlisted in the RCAF in July 1942 and trained as an air gunner before being posted overseas in 1943. Ten days after his arrival, he was dead at age 32, the victim of a German air raid over Bournemouth, Hampshire.
