Distinguished Conduct Medal, London Gazette # 31128 dated 14 January 1919. "For conspicuous gallantry during the attack on Domuin, in front of Amiens, on 8th August, 1918. At one time when his platoon was being held up by an enemy strong point he without being ordered, crawled round the flank of the position and, coming up in the rear of two machine guns, killed the four gunners and held 11 mtii in a shallow dug-out against repeated attempts on their part to reach the guns until his platoon advanced and took them prisoners."

The cemetery grounds are open daily for visitation from sunrise to sunset. The on site cemetery office is open Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
