Location:

Haaksbergen is a small town about 15 kilometres south-west of Enschede, close to the German border. The HAAKSBERGEN GENERAL CEMETERY is 300 metres from the centre of Haaksbergen, on the north western side of the road to Enschede near its junction with the road to Hengelo and Zutphen. It is divided into Catholic and Protestant sections, and the British plot is in the Protestant section, against the boundary hedge which separates the two.
