Grave of Captain Hector John Roderick Jackson MC who served with the 10th Battn. C.E.F. Born in Karachi India (English parents) on March 27th 1892. Hector first enlisted into the 6th Field Company Canadian Engneers C.E.F. at North Vancouver BC on Oct. 21st 1915 listing his occupation as "Driver & Bridge Carpenter" Hector was awarded the Military Cross for Valour in the field in 1918. He died at Vancouver BC on Jan. 25th 1920 at the age of 27. He was laid to rest in the Mountain View Cemetery of Vancouver BC. -
