He was born in Peterborough Ontario on June 4th 1874.  He enlisted into the C.E.F. at Esquimalt BC on July 23rd 1915. he listed his occupation as "Druggist"  Wallace died at Vancouver BC of the Spanish Flu on May 4th 1919 at the age of 45.  He was laid to rest in the Mountain View cemetery of Vancouver BC
