Born in the town of Cromarty of Ross & Cromarty Scotland on Dec. 15th 1887.  George enlisted into the C.E.F. at Vancouver BC on May 27th 1918 he listed his occupation as "Baker"  He died Oct. 23rd 1918 at age 30 during the great Spanish flu panademic of 1918-19.  He was laid to rest in the Mountain View cemetery of Vancouver BC.
