Family Memorial
This grave marker is hard to read. But, it says: Archie Turner Killed In Action in France May 12, 1916. Please note that this is a grave marker not a tomb; Archie is buried in Belgium/France. This grave marker can be found in the St. Thomas Cemetery. It is inscribed on the opposite side of the same headstone for Arthur Turner (his Father). When you go into the cemetery, turn left on the first lane (South) and continue on this lane until the loop (which brings you back). Stop at the top of the loop. The grave site is in the South East Corner (area) of the grave yard. (2015 there is a Tim Hortons Coffee Shop on the other side of the fence which is Elm Street & Wilson Ave). Street Address: 67 West Avenue, St. Thomas, ON, Canada -
Newspaper Clipping
This image is of three newspaper clippings that were photo-copied in the late 1990s or early 2000s. The newspaper clippings are from the St. Thomas Times Journal; the photo is not that clear, but looks like it was copied from the photo-graph published on here courtesy of the 1st Hussars Museum in London, ON, Canada. -
