Gorre is a hamlet 2.5 kilometres east of Beuvry. Leave Beuvry on the D72, crossing the railway and then the Canal d'Aire on the way. The Cemetery is 150 metres from the church in Gorre, to the left of the D72.

Photo of Herbert Carrick Barr – 2nd Lieutenant Herbert Carrick Barr No.10 Squadron, Royal Flying Corps, formerly a sergeant (No.1606) in the Canadian Army Service Corps. Shot down while acting as the observer in a BE2g that was on a photographic flight over France on December 11, 1916, aged 22 years. British Real Photo Postcard.
