BOOK OF REMEMBRANCE
Ontario, Canada

Grave Reference:

N/A

Location:

The Books of Remembrance contain the names of Canadians who fought in wars and died either during or after them. All the books are kept in the Memorial Chamber located in the Peace Tower on Parliament Hill, Ottawa, Ontario. Quite aptly named are these testaments to Canada's past, for by their very title they remind us to never forget the foundations of courage on which Canada is built. The Commonwealth War Graves Commission is searching to find the graves of these casualties whose names are commemorated within the Canadian Book of Remembrance, but have no known grave location. Those casualties whose graves have not been identified will be commemorated on an appropriate memorial in Canada or the United Kingdom.
