S/Cst. Foster joined the Force as a regular member in 1971 and then converted to Special Status in 1975 so that he would be eligible to enter the RCMP Air Section. S/Cst. Foster had trained with the RCMP Musical Ride. He died in an airplane crash. S/Cst. Foster is buried in the cemetery at Sussex, NB.

Commemorated on Page 157 of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police Honour Roll Book.
