Cst. Lepine was born in Saskatchewan. He died of injuries received in a motor vehicle accident on the TransCanada Highway near Cloverdale, British Columbia. Cst. Lepine was single. He is buried in Gethsemane Memorial Gardens in Prince Albert, SK.

Commemorated on Page 119 of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police Honour Roll Book.
