Constable Millen was shot by The “Mad Trapper of Rat River”. This was the first time an airplane was used to pursue a wanted man. Constable Millen is buried in Edmonton.

Commemorated on Page 51 of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police Honour Roll Book.
