On 9 February 1983, in the St. Barnabas Chapel at Blue Beret Camp, Nicosia, Cyprus, the 2nd Battalion, Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry presented a stained glass window dedicated to their deceased members. Depicted in the center pain is St. Barnabas; the left pane consists of a Patricia's hat badge with the Regimental colours (maroon, gold and royal blue) above it; and the right pane consists of a VP and coronet with the Arabic numeral two and the Regimental colours below.
The window was dedicated by the Colonel-in-Chief, The Right Honourable Countess Mountbatten of Burma, CD, JP, DE. Also present was Lieutenant-Colonel B. Ashton, Captain A.J. Anderson, the unit medical officer who designed the window, Sergeant R.J. Germain, the weapons technician who produced the window, and other members of the Battalion. Upon the end of Canada's commitment in Cyprus, the stained glass window was brought to Canada.
