Veterans Affairs Canada announces funding to support homeless and at-risk Veterans

On 16 December 2019, the Honourable Lawrence MacAulay, Minister of Veterans Affairs and Associate Minister of National Defence, announced funding through the Veteran and Family Well-Being Fund for Good Shepherd Refuge Social Ministries to support homeless and at-risk Veterans.

Based in Toronto, the Good Shepherd Refuge Social Ministries’ Veteran Housing Navigation Team will pair their expertise with peer support to prevent homelessness among at-risk Veterans by helping them achieve their housing, health and social goals.
