Women and LGBTQ2+ Veteran Engagement

Women and LGBTQ2+ service members and Veterans have played an important role in our country’s military efforts over the years and continue to contribute to its rich history and heritage.

The Women Veterans Forum

The 2019 Women Veterans Forum was the first of its kind in Canada to discuss specific challenges women face in their lives after service. Held in Charlottetown, the forum brought together Veterans, researchers, experts and organizational leaders.

The 2020 Women Veterans Forum was to be held in early 2020, but has been postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. An in-person event will be planned when public health guidelines permit.
