Harold Hague

Mr. Harold Hague and Suzanne Tining, Deputy Minister, Veterans Affairs CanadaMr. Hague is a Second World War Veteran. He has been a member of The Royal Canadian Legion for more than 60 years and has served in many capacities during that time. Mr. Hague is past president of Branch 001, past president of Saskatchewan Command, and past chairman of the Poppy Campaign. He has been chair and co-chair of the Regina Remembrance Day Service, and was instrumental in arranging the indoor service at the Brandt Centre, which is currently the most well-attended Remembrance Day event in Regina. In cooperation with the Saskatchewan Protocol Office and Veterans Affairs Canada, Mr. Hague was chair of the 1995 Canada Remembers Program in Saskatchewan. He is a recipient of The Royal Canadian Legion's Meritorious Service Medal and has a Life Membership for his devotion to, and care of, past and present Veterans. Mr. Hague is a member of the Dominion Speakers Bureau and is a well known advocate for war Veterans and current serving Veterans. In addition to his service in the Veteran community, Mr. Hague has been involved with community clubs such as the Junior Chamber of Commerce, Girl Guides and Boy Scouts, Canadian Cancer Society, Kinsmen, and the Family Service Bureau. Mr. Hague has 30 years of service with the Corps of Commissionaires, Saskatchewan Division.
