NEW LOCATION: This event in Halifax marking the 75th anniversary of D-Day and the Battle of Normandy will now take place at Willow Park Armoury due to inclement weather.

Parking is limited.

Photo identification is required to access the event site.

This year, the Government of Canada is pleased to host a signature event in Halifax. This meaningful location represents the end of the train journey across Canada and the departure point for many of our soldiers heading to war in Europe.

The Government of Canada invites the official delegation and the public to take part in this ceremony as part of the 75th anniversary commemorations for D-Day and the Battle of Normandy.
