Commemorative Ceremony
September 21 - November 12, 2019
11:30 - 13:30

Each Fall at our opening ceremonies in communities across Canada and at exactly the same moment and day, we unfurl 128 Canadian flags in honour and tribute to the approximately 128,000 Canadian KIA and MIA military and RCMP personnel from the Boer War to current missions.

We also give tribute and honour at our events to our military and First Responders through Plaques of Honour that are at each flag pole, having the name of a past or present service personnel inscribed.
