This event marks the 80th anniversary of the mobilization of the nation, with special attention paid to the contributions and roles of women, Indigenous peoples and the home front. Connecting Torontonians in a meaningful way to the sacrifice of Canadians in the Second World War, this occasion marks the last opportunity to pay homage to those veterans still alive. See interpretation and presentations of material culture, static displays of period vehicles, materials, uniforms, and equipment.

Presenters include Canadian Armed Forces, Veterans Affairs Canada, Canadian Centre for the Great War, National Aviation Museum of Canada, and World War Two Living Historians.

This event is part of Toronto History Museums' Commemorative programming.
