This initiative is designed to pay tribute to the men and women of our veterans and first responders in a visually stunning display of patriotism and Remembrance.

Every year, 128 full-size official Canadian flags are raised along major roadways and other highly visible locations in participating communities across Canada. These flags represent the more than 128,000 Canadians Military and RCMP killed or missing in action from the South African War to present day. This is the first year we will also be giving tribute to our much deserving First Responders and all they sacrifice.

The flags will be raised on September 21st and are taken down on November 12th.

This event is free of charge and open to the public.  Everyone is encouraged to attend.
