Commemorative Ceremony
November 10, 2019
12:00 - 13:00

The tradition continues; Kettleby Cemetery is hosting a Remembrance Day Ceremony, on Sunday November 10, 2019, at 12 noon, at the Kettleby Cenotaph, located at the entrance of Kettleby Cemetery, near the gate at 631 Kettleby Road (nearest intersection Jane St/Aurora Lloydtown Rd).

This is a brief ceremony (approx. 30 minutes) in memory of those that gave their life for us, for their homes and families and friends. For a collection of traditions they cherished and a future they believed in; they died for Canada. The ceremony will feature singing, live music, a minute of silence and placing of wreaths by our elected officials. This event is attended by a number of local residents, usually about 60 or more, as well as the local media, police and fire fighters. The ceremony features Lt Col (Ret) Susan Beharriell.
