19:00 - 21:00

Remembrance Illuminated is a 20-minute slide show that will be repeated over two hours each evening from 8th to 11th November, beginning at 7:00 pm.

The illuminated images cast onto the front of Christ Church Cathedral are of soldiers, airmen and sailors in the Great War, the Second World War, Korea, Peacekeeping/Peacemaking and Afghanistan.

There will be an informal opening of Remembrance Illuminated on Friday 8 Nov at 6:45 pm. The Dean of the Cathedral, Rev. Ansley Tucker, will say a few words, followed by the First Nation's Honour Song in recognition of the 8th being National Aboriginal Veterans Day (sung by James Swan, a retired member of the Canadian Scottish Regiment). A piper from the Canadian Scottish will also play, as the illumination begins.
