Remembrance Day
November 10, 2019

Remembrance Day commemorations will once again be held this year at the cenotaph located behind City Hall at 11370, rue Notre-Dame, Montreal East, on Sunday, November 10, at 11:00. As is the case each year, over 200 people, including 150 cadets and a number of veterans, will parade before the ceremony, accompanied by a military band, on Broadway and Notre-Dame streets up to City Hall Park, with a scheduled arrival at around 11:00.

Attending the ceremony will be provincial and federal elected officials, the mayor of Montreal East, veterans of the Second World War and the Korean War, a large number of Canadian Armed Forces veterans, and a number of Regular and Reserve Force members.

All residents of Montreal East and surrounding areas are invited to attend the commemorations.
