A Ceremony at the City of Lethbridge Cenotaph at 11:00 a.m., on August 15th, (outside) ,will be held to commemorate the liberation of the 1975 Canadians soldiers who fought in the Battle of Hong Kong. The survivors were prisoners of war in Hong Kong and Japan for almost 4 years. The ceremony is organized by the Hong Kong Veterans Commemorative Association with the support of our Lethbridge Royal Canadian Legion Stewart Branch #4.
