Events in Canada

The Korean War raged from 1950 to 1953. More than 26,000 Canadians served on land, at sea and in the air during this bitter conflict in a rugged land so far from home. Sadly, 516 Canadians lost their lives. The Korean War was an important chapter in Canada’s military history and part of our country’s proud tradition of defending peace and freedom around the world.

This year marks the 65th anniversary of the signing of the armistice that ended the active fighting in the Korean War. How will you remember?
