Memorial – Built in memory of the Old Boys who lost their lives in the Great War, the Memorial Chapel is located at the heart of the Rothsay Netherwood School campus, Rothsay NB and is a component of students' daily routine. Each morning the School comes together to speak and think, to discuss and reflect and to sing. Though founded in the Anglican tradition, the Chapel provides a multi-faith spiritual gathering place for each member of the school community. He died of enemy fire on October 23, 1916 while escorting a photo-reconnaissance mission flying over Bapaume. He was a casualty of the First World War at 23 years of age. He is listed on the memorial arch at the Royal Military College of Canada.
