Location:

Miraumont is a village about 14.5 kilometres north-north-east of Albert and the Cemetery is some 3 kilometres south of the village on the east side of the road to Courcelette (D107). The ADANAC MILITARY CEMETERY is signposted in the centre of Miraumont.

  • War Memorial– This is the war memorial at the village of Selsley in Gloucestershire on which Robert Wade's name is commemorated.
  • Inscription– Robert was the son of William and Mary Ann Wade and was born in Humberton, Yorkshire.  He enlisted on 8th October 1915 at Sarnia, Ontario where he was living with his wife "Vanny" ( probably should be Annie) at 317 Maxwell Street.  He was a Grocer's Clerk.
