Stained Glass Window – Ex-cadets are named on the Memorial Arch at the Royal Military College of Canada in Kingston, Ontario and in memorial stained glass windows to fallen comrades. 1600 Lt Col Thoburn Mcintosh (RMC 1921-5) was the son of Judge John Charles and Eva Bond Thoburn McIntosh of Victoria, British Columbia. He was the husband of Dorothy (née Howden) McIntosh, of Winnipeg, Manitoba whom he married on 12 September 1936. He was the father of Ian Forbes McIntosh. He was a graduate of Royal Military College, Kingston, Ontario, Class of 1925. He served with the Royal Canadian Artillery. He was awarded the 1939-45 Star, Italy Star, Defence Medal, War Medal 1939-45, Canadian Volunteer Service Medal and Clasp. He died on Jan 13, 1945. He was buried in the Gradara War Cemetery in Italy Plot 1, Row G, Grave 72.
