Son of John and Regina LeBoldus (1955 National Memorial (Silver) Cross Mother), of Vibank, Saskatchewan.

Brother of Martin Benedict and John Anthony LeBoldus, who also served in the Royal Canadian Air Force. Martin Benedict died on February 20, 1944 and John Anthony died on November 24, 1943.

Previously buried at the Communal Cemetery at Saint-Riquier-ès-Plains, Seine, France.

Leboldus Channel connects Leboldus Lake with Frobisher Lake in northwestern Saskatchewan. The Province of Saskatchewan named the Channel after John Anthony and the Lake after Peter John. The Leboldus islands in the lake are named after Martin Benedict.

Location:

Grandcourt is a village 30 kilometres east of Dieppe at the crossing of the roads from Blangy-sur-Bresle to Fresnoy and Criel-sur-Mer to Fallencourt. The GRANDCOURT WAR CEMETERY is about 2 kilometres north-east of the village on the road to Blangy.
