  • Document– David Barnes filled out this high school registration card  on his entry to Lawrence Park Collegiate (Toronto)in 1938. The notes at the bottom of the card are those of the office staff. All information is out of date. The red marker denoted the start of the file on deceased serving former students at the school.  The notes at the bottom are those of the office staff on hearing of his death.  He was killed during his flight training.
  • Document– The official recognition of David Barnes death as a result of a training accident.  He was in Manitoba at the time of his death.

  • Document– This Training Report was filed by the 12 Service Flying Training School.  It shows that the course David was on started 28 Feb 44.  David's picture shows him with the white insert in his cap of a Flight Cadet.  On his death he reverted to his last rank, Leading Air Craftsman.
