Location:

Normee is a commune 30 kilometres) south-west of Chalons-en-Champagne, and 8 kilometres north-east of Fere-Champenoise. In the churchyard, to the west of the church, are the graves of four British and one Canadian airmen.

  • Cemetery– This is the photo of the communal grave in Normee, Marne Region of the Champagne Department of France, where Hugh Fraser Mackenzie is buried with his pilot, James F Ineson, and three other members of their crew. They were shot down on 4th May 1944 on the Mailly Le Camp raid.
