  • Newspaper clipping– City of Cambridge Ontario named an Avenue often Harold Schroeder. Pictured with the road sign are two of Harold’s sisters.
  • Grave marker– Our family visited Harold’s resting place at the Commonwealth Cemetery at Coriano Ridge, Italy. We noticed his last name had been spelled wrong on the headstone, and through the work of our aunts, the government of Canada, Veteran Affairs, had the headstone changed, with name corrected....Thank You so much to all involved.

“They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old;
 Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
 At the going down of the sun and in the morning
 We will remember them.”
