The other children were; Arnold Fredrick B: 17/02/1917 D: 14/06/1997 Robert Stanley “Stan” B: 02/11/1919 D:18/09/2011 James Reginald B: 21/09/1921 D: KIA 26/07/1944 Phyllis Irene B: 06/10/1923 D: Do not have exact date of death. The family farmed in the Red Deer Hill district. They were the second owners of land that had been homesteaded by their grandparents Robert and Agnes Giles in 1879. The land was farmed by Fred and then Arnold and Stan, and was sold out of the family in 1997. So the Giles family has a long history in Red Deer Hill.
