  • Report on Flying Abilities  part III– Alvin is recommended for a commission on completion of his flying, something he never achieved, probably because of his youth.
  • Sgt Reimers final medical– Alvin died as the result of injuries sustained in a crash at a base in England.  He was flying a Whitley at the time.  These two pages detail the last two weeks of his life.  They unfortunately did not notice that his lung was injured in the crash, but concentrated on his legs and facial wounds.
