Entered the service of the Eastern Townships Bank 28th October, 1909. Served at Vancouver city' branches. On active service with The British Columbia Regiment (Duke of Connaught's Own Rifles) in the rank of Major 1st September, 1939. Appointed District Records Officer of Military District No.11, at Esquimalt, B.C. Died of a heart attack in Vancouver 16th May, 1940. From a memorial booklet prepared by the Canadian Bank of Commerce.
