  • Grave Marker– This is John Adams's grave marker at Grimsby (Scartho Road) Cemetery.  HMS "Ganges" was a shore based training establishment for the Royal Navy 1905-76.  In 1918,  there were several outbreaks of influenza and diphtheria at the Base.
  • Grimsby (Scartho Road) Cemetery– This is a view of the WW1 section of the cemetery.  John Adams's grave is the 3rd marker beyond the large arched headstone in the front row.
