  • Grave Marker– John Sholto Douglas was buried in church yard of St.Mary the Virgin in Bampton, Oxfordshire, his grandparents family church. The inscription on the grave marker includes others of his family but does refer to his parents who lived in Brandon Manitoba. He would visit his grandparents on leave during the war.
