  • Grave Marker– This is Fred Scrimshaw's grave marker. He was born at Burton on Trent, Staffordshire on 5th August 1879, the son of William and Emma Scrimshaw. He was married to Clara Florence Scrimshaw who, at the time he enlisted, was living at 676 W 19th Ave Vancouver BC. He enlisted at Vernon BC on 28th September 1915. He was a carpenter by trade but had previously served 3 years in the 2nd Bn. Nth. Staffs Regt.
