  • Grave marker– Private Skelton and Private Insley were buried side-by-side in the Brandon Municipal Cemetery (Brandon, Manitoba, Canada). The soldiers had a double military funeral - the first ever held in the city according to the Brandon Daily Sun (26 March 1915).  Both men were members of the 45th Battalion and had succumbed to pneumonia.
