  • Grave marker– Grave of 706985 Pvt. John Bell who served with the 47th Battn. & Canadian Army Medical Corps. C.E.F. Born in Cambushnethan Lanark Scotland on May 23rd 1971.  He listed himself as a "Widower" at the time of his enlistment in the 103rd Battn. (Replacement) at Victoria BC on Feb. 19th 1916. John listed 4 years prior military service with the Argyle & Sutherland Highlanders (British Army) he listed his occupation as "Coal Miner"  He died in Vancouver BC on Oct. 22 1918 at the age of 55.
