Born in Glace Bay Nova Scotia on Nov. 2nd 1881.  He was drafted into the C.E.F. at Vancouver BC on Sept. 24th 1918 listing his occupation as "Miner"
He died 28 days later on Oct. 22nd 1918 at the age of 36 during the Spanish Flu panademic of 1918-19.  He was laid to rest in the Mountaian View cemetery of Vancouver BC.
