Frederick enlisted into the C.E.F. at Valcartier Quebec on Sept. 22nd 1914 listing his occupation as "Miner"  Frederick died at Vancouver BC on March 17th 1920 at the age of 31.  He was laid to rest in the Mountain View Cemetery of Vancouver BC.
