Memorial – Private George V. Magrane's grave marker in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, 208 Sunnidale Road, Barrie, Ontario. Private Magrane enlisted in the Canadian Expeditionary Force's 87th Battalion (Canadian Grenadier Guards) and later served in France in the 1st Canadian Battalion (Ontario Regiment). He was awarded the Military Medal (MM) for bravery in the field (reference: Supplement to the London Gazette; March 13, 1918, page 3252). (Image taken by Gregory J.
