Location:

Noeux-les-Mines is a town 6 kilometres south of Bethune on the main road to Arras. The Communal Cemetery is on the northern side of the town, on the south-east side of the road to Labourse.

  • Newspaper Clipping– Lance Corporal Craig Campbell Tibb enlisted in Toronto on August 13th, 1915. Tibb was born in Streetsville, Ontario.  His brother was John (Jack) Campbell Tibb, 2393357, who served with the 48th Highlanders. The articles are transcribed from original versions in poor condition.
  • Cap Badge– Cap Badge 92nd Bn (48th Highlanders of Canada).  L/Cpl Tibb enlisted in the 92nd Bn but was transferred to the 42nd Bn (Royal Highlanders of Canada) as a reinforcement.  Submitted by Capt (ret'd) V.Goldman, 15th Bn Memorial Project Team.  DILEAS GU BRATH
