Son of Louis-René Paré and Susanne-Agnes Dawson, of St-Jean, Québec. He named his sister Blanche (wife of Elijah-Reid Osborne) as next-of-kin. He was severely wounded on November 7, 1918 and died of his wounds two weeks later. His father, too old for service, stated being 7 years younger to enroll in 1915 (service number 417626); he was already overseas when his son enlisted.
