  • Photo of William Walter Hall– Pte William Walter Hall. Enlisted Sept 1915. Died of wounds Sept 22, 1916 at the Battle of the Somme.
  • Cap Badge– Cap Badge 42nd Bn (Royal Highlanders of Canada).  Pte Hall enlisted with the 92nd Bn (48th Highlanders of Canada) but was transferred to the 42nd Bn as a reinforcement.  Submitted by Capt (ret’d) V. Goldman, 15th Bn Memorial Project team.  DILEAS GU BRATH
  • Shoulder Patch– Shoulder Patch 42nd Bn (Royal Highlanders of Canada).  Pte Hall enlisted with the 92nd Bn (48th Highlanders of Canada) but was transferred to the 42nd Bn as a reinforcement.  Submitted by Capt (ret’d) V. Goldman, 15th Bn Memorial Project team.  DILEAS GU BRATH
